In order to actively promote the healthy development of low-carbon, energy-saving and pollution emission control technologies for mobile sources under the background of carbon neutrality, and to facilitate technological progress and industrial development in the industry, as well as to accumulate rich experience references and clear direction guidance for the development of the industry, the National Engineering Laboratory for Mobile Source Pollution Emission Control Technology and Ka Long High-tech signed a strategic cooperation agreement on May 17, 2023. The signing ceremony was presided over by Li Zhenguo, the executive deputy director of the laboratory, and Fang Maodong, the director of the Mobile Source Laboratory, delivered a sincere speech.
Zang Zhicheng, the chairman of the company, stated that the mobile source, as a national-level research and development platform, is a benchmark within the industry and also a model for us to learn from. Since its establishment, Kai Long High-tech has always placed great emphasis on research and development investment and technological innovation. Over the years, it has maintained long-term investment in research and development. The proportion of research and development investment in the past year exceeded 15% of the main business income. In the future, we will continue to make efforts in technological innovation to generate development momentum.
This meeting also invited industry experts to jointly discuss and share experiences on topics such as the development of heavy vehicle emission control technology for National VI standards, the development of electro-control technology for urea pumps and urea nozzles, the verification and application of silicon carbide carriers, and key technologies of fuel cells.
Both parties conducted a meeting summary, and they will carry out in-depth cooperation in several aspects such as the control technology for motor vehicle exhaust pollutants (near-zero emission control technology), pre-research for the National VI standard, the research and development of key technologies for in-use vehicle pollution control and their matching application technologies, and the detection and certification of key components.
After the meeting, Deputy Director Li Zhenguo of the laboratory led the representatives of Kailong High-tech to visit the mobile source laboratory and introduced the laboratory's technologies for controlling exhaust emissions and evaporation emissions from mobile sources.
The signing of this strategic cooperation agreement is based on the principles of "complementary advantages, practical effectiveness, mutual improvement, and achieving a win-win situation", and establishes a long-term strategic partnership. In the future, both parties will fully leverage their respective resources and industry advantages to jointly focus on the research of motor vehicle exhaust pollutant emission control technologies in the next stage, striving to make them reach international advanced levels.
